Boom Pam run on twanging guitars, heavyweight tuba and drums straight out of a ’70s dance club. Somewhere between Tel Aviv and Thessaloniki, surf rock collides with Mediterranean melodies and psychedelic grooves—and the dance floor takes over.

Since 2003, the band have helped shape a new sound out of the region’s rich musical traditions, bringing grit, humour and a restless imagination to everything they touch.

Their live shows have taken them from Montreal Jazz Festival to Fuji Rock, Lollapalooza and Primavera Sound, with collaborations along the way including Turkish icon Selda Bağcan and Israeli trailblazers Berry Sakharof, Tomer Yosef, Maor Cohen and Shai Tsabari.
